MISSION:
As General Manager of a/several locations(s), you will have a leading role in the management of the location(s) you have been assigned to. You report into the Area Director Industrious.
The content of the job is about meticulously executing and being responsible for delivering up to the Industrious locations goals in regard to revenue growth by managing the sales, expansions and renewals of the location, and the various products /services Industrious offers. Cost control will be in conjunction with the Operations Manager and the direct Line manager. Achieve operations Excellence and required NPS (customer satisfaction) goals. All of this ensuring we have a highly engaged team.
You have a team with an Operations Manager and Host(s). The number of Host(s) depends on the size of the location, the opening hours and the reception tasks. The Operations Manager is the line manager of the Host(s) and responsible for the operations in the locations. You are the line manager of the Operations Manager.
As the General Manager for the Industrious locations(s) you spend approximately 90% of your time on revenue related tasks regarding New Sales, Expansions & Renewals of agreements for the various products of Industrious. You manage active the Broker relations and work with them on a good conversion on deals. You manage the full sales funnel from lead generation to the deal.
Together with your team you organize a monthly event for the guests and invite once in a while your strategic relations.
Responsibilities
Executing the daily sales /revenue growth focus.
- Sales - As first priority you focus on sales in a business to business environment and ensure you achieve the targeted revenues, occupancies throughout your location(s).
- Renewals - You work on renewing the existing guests upon renewal time and to minimize churn.
- Operations - In second order you ensure with your Operations Manager operational excellence in your location(s) in a lean manner which drives to a NPS score of >70 in Industrious Europe and a best in market churn level. You manage and support the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- You are an experienced B2B Sales person with over 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
- You have the right skills to manage and motivate a team.
- You have a clear and timely view on the broader results vs targets and know where to take action to right size the location performance or improve results where needed to achieve the budgeted targets.
- (Re-)Negotiate and execute complex deals or improvement tracks potential customers and existing members.
- You manage and maintain a good relationship with the building management company.
- You are colleague/customer/partner focused, and able to create creative win-win scenarios.
- Are proactive and a hands-on individual who takes ownership and responsibility i n completing tasks.
- Have a strong work ethic, used to working in a demanding environment and outperforming their peers.
- You work at pace and are able to cope with ambiguity and change.
- Are equally comfortable working on planning and strategy or doing hands-on delivery.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data to drive strategic decisions
- Passion, enthusiasm, energy, humor, and the ability to convey this in person, as well as through phone, video and email communications
- Willingness to travel for international training/meetings if needed.
